Hi. Before paying for inventory, I wanted to know if anyone has sold supplements in the USA market but sourced them from an international vendor. Is third-party lab testing required by an American lab to verify the product contains the said materials? What are Amazon's requirements for selling supplements in the US market? For example, what does Amazon need for collagen tablets from a seller to allow it to list that Product?
Also, If products are made in the USA and have that on the packaging, which proof does Amazon need to say that on the labeling?
Every single supplement type has different amazon requirements a lot of them especially in dietary category, having new requirements this year. Rule of thumb, most supplement sellers on amazon are made in USA. Check with amazon for the category you are wanting to sell what the specific certification requirements are, and make sure your supplier is able to provide those to you
@bradley-sutton I tried calling Amazon and was unable to get someone on the phone who could answer this question; I was constantly transferred to different agents before the last person said to send an email to customer service, to which I did and received no response. Is there a direct phone number or email for amazon business support?

I know of sellers with supplements made in China, but their packaging says they are made in the USA. If the supplement is in the dietary category, like collagen tablets, but made in china, Is there a workaround to this as long as the design and aspects are conducted in the USA?
