I dont believe its 100% necessary to do that. I believe even as a foreign entity you can register your account.

I’m planning my exit strategy and noticed most private label buyers and funding options prefer US-based companies with US financial reports. Do you know if the Amazon ecosystem for financing and buyouts is mainly focused on US businesses? We’re based in New Zealand and China, so I’m wondering if that limits access to these services.
@jerry-kung It might be easier to purchase a US based company if the buyer is in the US< but at the end of the day companies want profitable companies. If you are super profitable, they will find a way to purchase
