I realized that in many cases the helium data is far off the amazon data, for instance, on the amazon listing is shows 1K sales in the last month
and in the helium 10 data the number is 32K !! that much more than a marginal mistake, I see that many times.

Not a mistake, and not far off from the data. Remember that amazon for that figure is showing the approximate number of CUSTOMERS who have bought that EXACT variation. The Helium 10 number is showing the approximate number of UNITS sold of ALL the variations in that listing. Did you see there are like 60+ variations in that listing?
