Hi everyone! It’s great to be part of this forum.
I have a beginner question, but I really don’t want to make mistakes — this is my first time selling on Amazon.
I already have my product manufactured and ready to ship to Amazon’s warehouses.
I know which cities I want to focus on for my customers (East Coast), and I’ll be using 100% of Amazon’s fulfillment services (FBA).
My question is: how can I make sure my inventory is stored on the East Coast, so my logistics costs are lower and my stock is visible where I need it?
I’ve never shipped to Amazon before, so I’m not sure if products go to a central hub and then get distributed, or if I have any control from the beginning over where my inventory will be stored.
Sorry if this is a very basic question — I’ve already taken care of everything else, and this is the last piece I need to feel confident moving forward.
Could anyone help me out, please?
You cant make sure where the inventory is stored, and you only have loose control over where its sent, as youll see when you set up the inbound shipment. Set it up through the steps and youll see that youll have three options for how to send it in, but after that, amazon will distribute it across the country.
Thank you so much, Bradley, for your time and response!
I’m just getting started on Amazon, and I’ve found your advice and teachings from Freedom Ticket incredibly helpful.
