I'm a new seller and I have a question I found a product with potential, to which improvements were made due to the bad reviews... Now, How do I know that when I present the plan with the modified ones to the supplier, not turn around, manufacture and go out and offer it or give me a high quote that I don't want to accept, turn around and start selling them?
What would you advise me?
That kind of thing you dont know unfortunately. For those with a sourcing agent, or long relationships with suppliers its easier to control, but if its the first time you are working with a new supplier, thats always a risk. You can just be up front with them, and maybe even get them to sign something that says they wouldnt do that, but its not like that binds them to it.
