Branding Like a Pro: Inserts,Brand Registry, A+ Content

Had a fantastic late 2 am call with the Amazon Global Selling team this week to shoot some content for their Amazon New Seller Accelerator program for sellers based in Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia. I shared a branding blueprint that can help sellers achieve a higher ROI in their Amazon business. Here are just FOUR tips from all the ones I shared that can hopefully lead to a better ROI for you too:

 

1) Building a brand is as much about what your customer sees as it is about what your customer feels. From your logo, to color psychology, font, imagery all the way to the experience you deliver, the interactions you have, and the sense of community that you facilitate. If you can craft a consistent brand well where your customers know exactly what to expect every time they buy your product, you'll create raving fans that will reap your rewards like retargeting and tailored messaging opportunities time and time again. 2) Owning a brand will give you access to Brand Registry which comes with an assortment of perks. Protect your IP, simplify counterfeit and unauthorized listing issues, tap into enhanced branded content and marketing tools, increased visibility and sales due to access Amazon Vine for early reviews and Amazon Transparency, etc. Quickly increase the longevity of the foundation you are building.

 

3) You don't have to have a massive budget to build your A+ content. Optimize with tools as simple as Canva templates, and discover keywords customers use to search up your products to include in your A+ using features like Historical Trends inside of Helium 10's Cerebro. You can then use the keywords to incorporate working themes into your images and while A+ in not indexed by Amazon, it is by Google so use your space wisely. You never know how one change can boost your conversion so I do encourage the use of Audiences to poll for feedback.

 

4) You can amplify your market share by adjusting strategy whenever possible. This includes things like monitoring your Brand Analytics (click share and conversion share) for your products, split-testing the components of your listing, utilizing Amazon Posts (auto-generate images and captions with Listing Builder), having a brand kit ready to go to send out to your influencers, generating blogging content with embedded links to capitalize on SEO, bulk create branded content by using ChatGPT and Canva in conjunction.
