Sometimes, the best opportunities on Amazon are hiding in plain sight—right inside keywords that barely anyone else is indexed for. When only a handful of products show up for a search term, it’s your chance to swoop in, claim visibility, and rank fast without fighting a sea of competition. Especially if those low-indexed keywords still pull in decent traffic, you’ve found yourself a sweet spot for easy wins.

To uncover these hidden gems, jump into Cerebro and put the Competing Products filter to work. Set a max threshold—something like 200 competing products—to isolate keywords where there’s very little competition. These are the terms most sellers are sleeping on.

Now don’t stop there. Take a look at the search volume and IQ score. You’re looking for a strong ratio—something with solid search volume and low competition. The higher the IQ score, the better the keyword’s potential. A possible goldmine waiting to be tapped.

Once you’ve found these opportunities, make them work for you. Add those keywords to your listing—title, bullet points, backend terms—and sprinkle them into your PPC campaigns where they fit. You’ll start ranking faster, gaining traction without burning through your ad budget.

Targeting these high-intent, low-competition keywords can seriously shorten the time it takes to see results. And the best part? You’re carving out a space that’s yours to hopefully dominate. Good luck!
