Did you know that for a competitor product that you do not have SQP data on, you can still get a list of keywords that is confirmed by Amazon to have brought sales to that product(s) over the last few months?
1. Drop the ASIN or ASINs into Helium 10 Black Box Brand Analytics and select up to 20 weeks or more of data.
2. Use the Conversion Share filter to have the "inputed ASINs" be greater than 1%, meaning, of the keywords that any of the products were one of the top three clicked, which ones had sales.
3. Hit Apply filters, and you now have a list of keywords that Amazon says brought sales, even without Search Query Performance!
I didn’t realize you could pull a list of keywords that actually brought sales for a competitor without having SQP data—it’s super helpful. The tip about using the Conversion Share filter to see which keywords contributed more than 1% is brilliant.
One thing I’ve found useful is to track these keywords over a few weeks instead of just looking at one snapshot. That way, you can spot the ones that consistently perform rather than a one-time spike.
Has anyone tried cross-referencing these with their own PPC campaigns? I feel like that could give some really interesting insights.
Thanks again for breaking this down—it’s going to save me a lot of time!
