I realized that keywords with lower search volume have a more expensive ppc bid suggestion,

how could that be?

I understand that the more competition the keyword has the more it costs!

It all depends on what is going on on Amazon. THere are high search volume keywords that maybe not many people are bidding on, and low search volume keywords that many are bidding on, and vice versa!    Search volume does not have a direct correlation all the time to competition
